Soul Healing Light collects information lawfully, following GDPR rules.

GDPR, updated in May 2018, lets you know how we collect and use your data, including health details. We will explain this more at your first visit.

By using the website form, you agree to let Soul Healing Light keep your information and contact you.

When you sign the form at your first visit, you agree to let Soul Healing Light keep your information. This includes form details, clinical records, and purchase history. We use this to provide the best service and for insurance.

Email Marketing

With your permission, we will email you practice updates. You must opt in on your form to get these. You can unsubscribe anytime by emailing soullighthealing@hotmail.com.

Information Storage

We store your data in a secure system and locked cabinet. We do not keep data on memory sticks. All documents with personal data are password protected.

Information Retention

You can ask us to hide your records if you end our relationship. By law, we keep adult records for eight years after our last contact. Then, we shred them. Children’s records are kept until their 25th or 26th birthday, based on their age when treatment ended.

Information Access

I access your records for clinical reasons. My website designer may also see online data to maintain the site. You can ask for a copy of your records anytime. We will email it as a Microsoft Word document.

Information Sharing

We will never share your data without your permission. It stays private unless the law requires disclosure. If disclosure is needed, we will inform you and ask for your cooperation first.

With your written consent, we may share medical data with other healthcare providers for your care.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can fix it. If you are still not happy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
